Rolled out in wheelchairs
scooters and walkers
wearing depends
and wrapped in wool blankets
their money is taken
so they can see the world aboard
an ocean cruise liner with better amenities
than an old folks home
senses dulled with all their medication
desperate to keep life meaningful
after thirty years of retirement
they are bored with life
but the system keeps them
afloat on the old folks cruise line.
