while butterflies emerge from their cocoons.
Daylight savings postponing nightfall
birds chirping to celebrate the dawn
Lent will soon be over with Easter
coming around the corner.
New births everywhere:
lambs, and chicks, and baby calves,
winter’s infants learning to crawl
new life with fresh beginnings
spring cleaning, tossing out winter’s cold
opening windows, letting in the light
from Canada to Mexico
let Springtime begin.
