Seasons
Leaves turn to brown then fall.
Later the earth is covered in white
feels like death but wait
in a little while life peeks through the ground
sprouting and then grows.
Put away those dark heavy jackets
choose colors of pastel green and pink
celebrate new life
It is time to sow, then to harvest
gather for the months to come
fall, winter, spring, summer
seasons change through the year
follow the cycles of the sun.
