Nesting
They find a spot in a tiled roof
then gather some string and straw
after several trips the nest is done
a few soft feathers to line the bed
soon the eggs are laid and in a few weeks
the chirp of hungry mouths to feed.
The male and female - without a word
complete this arrangement
until the fledglings fly off
to make nests of their own.
