A needle prick then four vials fill
with samples of my blood to be
sent off for a series of tests.
I also had to pee in a cup,
for men, it is an simple task
but for me not quite so easy.
These fluids will create a window
for the doctor to gaze through
to analyze the health of my cells.

to prescribe a medicinal potion
to keep me alive for at least 100 years.
The blood may reveal some truth
