Bullet Train
The bullet train travels
between every major Japanese
city at 300 miles per hour,
safe, spacious and fast.
Captures the imagination
of young boys,
who collect different models,
to place upon a shelf
but one such train took a trip
that couldn’t be planned
when the earthquake and tsunami
devastated the land
a little boy’s toy was swept
out to sea traveled across
the ocean and ended up
with another child in Huntington Beach.
This boy's family left Japan
because of the tragedy but made plans to return
the train to its original owner.
What will they discover along this journey?
